The Short Answer
- AED 799 per car from DXB to any Dubai hotel in a sedan or SUV, AED 899 in a Land Cruiser. Up to seven guests. The price is for the vehicle, not per person.
- It does not change at night, in traffic, or on a public holiday. Salik tolls, parking, fuel and waiting time are already inside the number.
- We meet you inside arrivals with a name board, not at a kerb by text message. Your driver tracks the inbound flight, so a delay costs you nothing.
- A taxi is cheaper for one or two people with light bags — RTA sets the airport starting fare at AED 20 to 25 plus distance, waiting and tolls. We will say so rather than pretend otherwise.
- It stops being cheaper the moment there are three or more of you, you land after midnight, you have real luggage, or you want the car to wait.
What a Dubai airport transfer costs
Here is every price on this page in one place. Per vehicle, agreed before you fly.
Nothing is added at the end. No fuel surcharge, no toll line, no “airport fee” on arrival, no night rate.
Taxi, Uber or a private transfer — the honest comparison
We sell private transfers. You should still know the real numbers before you decide.
The RTA publishes Dubai taxi starting fares by pickup type: a road pickup starts from AED 5–5.50, an e-hail booking from AED 9–13 depending on the time of day, an airport taxi from AED 20–25, and Port Rashid from AED 25. On top of the starting fare you pay a per-kilometre charge, waiting time, and any Salik or DARB tolls, which the RTA states are billed to the customer. Read on rta.ae the day this page was written; check it yourself before you travel.
That last row is not a typo. If you are two people with hand luggage landing at two in the afternoon, walk to the rank. Our price earns its money on families, late arrivals, luggage, and people who do not want to solve a problem after eight hours in a seat.
Where we meet you at DXB
Dubai International has three terminals and they are not next to each other. Terminal 3 is Emirates and flydubai’s long-haul home, Terminal 1 handles most other international airlines, and Terminal 2 sits on the far side of the runways. Tell us the flight number and we work out the terminal ourselves — you do not need to know it.
Your driver is inside the arrivals hall holding a board with your name, at the meeting point for your terminal, before you clear immigration. Not circling outside. Not sending a text asking which door you are at. The board is the whole point: after a long flight you should be able to walk out and see your name.

How long the drive actually takes
Flying out: when we should collect you
Work backwards, not forwards. For a long-haul departure, be at the terminal three hours before take-off; add the drive time from the table above, then add a margin for the road. From Marina to Terminal 3 for an 8am flight, that is a pickup around 4:15am — unpleasant, but so is watching the check-in desk close.
Tell us the flight number when you book the departure and we will tell you the pickup time rather than asking you to guess it. Departure runs are AED 799 in a sedan or SUV and AED 999 in a Land Cruiser, at any hour.
Children, luggage and larger groups
Child seats are free. Tell us the children’s ages when you book and the right seat is fitted before we leave for the airport. Do not arrive hoping — the seat has to be in the car before your flight lands.
Luggage. A sedan comfortably takes two large cases and two cabin bags. Four adults with four large cases should book the Land Cruiser, not a sedan, and it is worth telling us if you are carrying anything unusual — golf clubs, a pram, a cello. We would rather send the right vehicle than have a conversation at the kerb.
More than seven people. We dispatch two vehicles together so the group arrives at the hotel at the same time. Ask on WhatsApp and we will price it properly.
Five things that go wrong — and how we stop them
- The flight is late and the driver has gone. We track the inbound. The pickup moves with the aircraft and it costs you nothing.
- Nobody can find anybody. Your driver stands inside arrivals with a name board and you get their name and plate number before you fly.
- The price grows on the way. Ours cannot. Salik, parking, waiting and fuel are already in the number you agreed.
- The car is too small. We ask about bags before we send a vehicle, not after.
- The 3am arrival. Rank queues are longest after the late banks land. Your driver is already there, and the price is the same as at midday.
Want the car for the whole day instead, with no fixed route? See car with driver in Dubai — AED 250 per hour, four-hour minimum, fuel, Salik and parking included.
Need more than a transfer?
A transfer moves you from the terminal to your hotel and back. If you have a day or more in the city and want it planned around your onward flight, the Dubai stopover tour page has the hour-by-hour planner, the destination list and per-car prices from AED 599.
Bags before your room is ready?
Left luggage at Dubai International runs AED 35 to 50 per bag per twelve hours, and your hotel bell desk will usually hold them for nothing. The full comparison is on the Dubai airport luggage storage page.

Dubai Airport Transfer Questions
The questions Google shows for this search, answered with the RTA’s own published figures and our real prices.
How much is an airport transfer in Dubai?+
A private transfer with us is AED 799 per car from DXB to any Dubai hotel in a sedan or SUV, or AED 899 in a Land Cruiser, for up to seven guests. That price is fixed before you fly and includes Salik tolls, parking, fuel and waiting time. A metered airport taxi is cheaper for one or two people with light bags: the RTA publishes an airport starting fare of AED 20 to 25, plus a per-kilometre charge, waiting time and any tolls.
Is Dubai Airport taxi cheaper than Uber?+
Usually, yes. A Dubai taxi from the airport rank starts on the RTA airport tariff, while ride-hailing apps price dynamically and rise when demand is high — which is exactly when a lot of flights land. Neither is fixed in advance, and both bill tolls to you. Our transfer is a fixed number agreed before you fly, which is a different thing from being the cheapest at every hour.
Does Emirates provide airport transfers?+
Emirates offers a Chauffeur-drive service on eligible First and Business Class fares on many routes, and arranges complimentary coach transfers as part of the Dubai Connect service for long connections. Neither is available to every passenger on every fare, and neither is the same as a private car you book yourself. Check your own booking — and if it is not included, our fixed-price transfer is AED 799 per car.
Is it easy to transfer at Dubai Airport?+
Connecting between flights at DXB is well signposted and you normally stay airside, but the terminals are large and Terminal 2 is on the far side of the airfield, so allow for a train ride and a long walk. That is a different question from a car transfer — if you are leaving the airport rather than connecting, that is what this page is about.
Do you meet me inside the airport?+
Yes. Your driver waits inside the arrivals hall at the meeting point for your terminal, holding a board with your name, and helps with the bags to the vehicle. You get the driver’s name and the plate number before you fly.
What happens if my flight is delayed?+
Nothing, from your side. We track the inbound flight and the pickup time moves with it. There is no waiting charge for a delay and no need to message us from the aircraft.
Is the price per person or per car?+
Per car. AED 799 covers the whole vehicle for up to seven guests. A family of four pays AED 799 in total, not AED 799 each — which is what makes a private transfer competitive once there are more than two of you.
Do you charge extra at night?+
No. The price is the same at 3am as at 3pm. There is no night rate, no holiday rate and no surge. Late arrivals are actually when a pre-booked car is worth the most, because the rank queue after the midnight banks can be long.
Are child seats available?+
Yes, and they are free. Tell us the children’s ages when you book so the correct seat is fitted before we set off for the airport. We cannot fit one you have not asked for once you have landed.
Do you cover Al Maktoum (DWC) airport?+
Yes. DWC sits roughly 40 km from the city, about 40 minutes’ drive, and it is a thin place to look for a car late at night. A private transfer from DWC to any Dubai hotel is AED 999 in a sedan or SUV, AED 1,199 in a Land Cruiser.
Can you collect from the cruise terminal?+
Yes. Port Rashid transfers are AED 799 in a sedan or SUV and AED 999 in a Land Cruiser, to a hotel or straight to the airport. We wait through the disembarkation queue rather than charging you for it, and the port entry charge is in the price.
How much is a transfer from Dubai airport to Abu Dhabi?+
AED 1,999 per car in a sedan or SUV and AED 2,499 in a Land Cruiser, for up to seven guests, taking roughly ninety minutes. The same price applies in the other direction, and you can book both legs at once.
Can the driver wait while I do a few stops?+
That is the hourly service: AED 250 per hour in a sedan or SUV and AED 350 per hour in a Land Cruiser, with a four-hour minimum. The car and driver stay with you, so shopping, meetings or three attractions in an afternoon do not mean booking a new ride each time.
Do I pay in advance?+
No deposit. You pay the driver on the day, in cash or by card. We confirm the price, the driver’s name and the plate number before you fly, so there is nothing to settle at the airport except the agreed number.
How far in advance should I book?+
A day is usually enough, but for a large group, a Land Cruiser at a peak hour, a wheelchair-accessible vehicle or an arrival between midnight and 6am, book as early as you can. The vehicle has to be assigned before your flight lands, not after.

If we have to cancel, what happens?
A cancellation policy that covers your obligations but not ours is only half a document. Here is our side of it, in writing.
If we have to cancel your booking — for weather, a vehicle issue, or driver illness — we will contact you as soon as we know and rebook you at no charge on the next date that works for you. You pay nothing for the cancelled booking.
If we need to send a different vehicle than the one you booked, we will ask you first rather than turning up in something you did not book.
This is separate from your own cancellation rights, which are unchanged: you can cancel free up to 12 hours before pickup. Because we take no deposit and no booking fee, there is no money of yours sitting with us either way — nothing to chase, and nothing to wait for.
