Warner Bros World Abu DhabiTickets, rides, timings and honest reviews: The Short Answer
The world’s largest indoor theme park: six lands, 29 rides, full air-conditioning. Ticket prices, the rides actually worth queueing for, timings and how our Yas Island city-tour add-on gets you there door to door.
- How much is a Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi ticket? +: The official adult ticket is around AED 475. However, authorised resellers and the park’s own promotions are routinely lower — we have seen listings around AED 345 and a “Family & Friends” offer around AED 221 per person.
- How long do you need at Warner Bros. World? +: Google’s own visit data says people typically spend up to 4 hours here. Our honest advice: with children, budget a full day.
- What time does the evening desert safari run?: Pickup is usually 3:00 to 3:30 PM and you are back in the city around 10:00 to 10:30 PM. Timings follow sunset, so in December pickup moves earlier and in June it moves later.
- Where is Warner Bros. World and how do I get there? +: It is on Yas Island, roughly 30 km (about 30 minutes) from the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and — usefully — only about 20 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
- What is included in the desert safari?: Every evening package includes 4×4 dune bashing, a short camel ride, sandboarding, a sunset photo stop, Arabic costume for photos, henna for ladies, a full BBQ buffet dinner with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, unlimited soft drinks, water, Arabic coffee and tea, a shisha corner, separate washrooms and around eight live shows including tanoura, belly dance and a fire show.
- How do I book?: Message us on WhatsApp with your date and group size. We reply with the exact total, no deposit and no booking fee, and you pay at the camp on the day.

Warner Bros World Tickets — Every Price, and Where They Are Cheaper
| Ticket | Official online price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Single Day | AED 345 | Warner Bros World only, unlimited rides all day |
| 2-Park | AED 475 | Any two Yas parks, valid 6 days |
| 3-Park | AED 575 | Three parks across 6 days — the family maths that works |
| Resellers | from ~AED 287 | Authorised platforms discount below gate price; some bundle a free shuttle |
Booking online on the official site saves roughly 10% against the gate. Authorised resellers sometimes go lower still. Children under 3 enter free. We buy tickets for guests at face value with no mark-up — or you buy your own and we simply drive.
Park hours
Warner Bros World generally opens 11:00 and closes 20:00, and because the entire park is indoors and air-conditioned those hours are identical in August and January. Arrive at opening: the first 90 minutes are the emptiest of the day, and it is the only window where the headline coasters have short queues.
How Many Hours Do You Need at Warner Bros World?
A full day — 6 to 8 hours — if you want to ride everything. Six lands, 29 rides and a walking route that doubles back on itself; families with children under 10 usually spend 5 hours and leave satisfied. Four hours is enough only if you skip the shows and accept queues on two or three headline rides. Anything under three hours is not worth the ticket price, and we will say so rather than sell you the drive.
On a tight schedule the pattern that works: gates at 11:00, the two big coasters first, lunch at 13:30 when queues peak, shows and character meets in the afternoon, out by 17:00 with time for the Corniche at sunset.
Ferrari World or Warner Bros World — Which Is Better?
The question everyone asks, and the honest answer depends on who is in the car.
| Warner Bros World | Ferrari World | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Families with children 4–12, hot months, character fans | Thrill-seekers, teenagers, motorsport fans |
| Indoor? | Entirely indoor — the deciding factor in summer | Mostly indoor, some outdoor coasters |
| Headline ride | Batman and the dark rides | Formula Rossa — the world’s fastest coaster |
| Under-6s | Far more for them | Limited |
Doing both? Take the 2-Park ticket (AED 475) and split them across two days — they are a five-minute drive apart. See our Ferrari World guide and the city tour with Ferrari World combo.

Pickup Areas — Abu Dhabi
Quick answer: Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is an indoor theme park on Yas Island, opened on 25 July, built by Miral at a reported cost of $1 billion. It holds a Guinness World Record and covers roughly 1.65 million square feet (about 15 hectares), with 29 rides, shows and attractions across six themed lands: Gotham City, Metropolis, Cartoon Junction, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch and Warner Bros. Plaza. Franchises include Batman, Superman and the DC universe, Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Scooby-Doo and The Flintstones. The entire park is indoors and air-conditioned — which makes it one of very few things in Abu Dhabi that works in the 42°C+ summer. The official adult ticket is around AED 475, though authorised resellers and park promotions are routinely lower (we have seen ~AED 345, and a Family & Friends offer around AED 221 per person). Google’s visit data says people typically spend up to 4 hours; with children, budget a full day. Under-tens: this beats Ferrari World. Teenagers chasing adrenaline: Ferrari World has the harder rides. It is ~30 km from the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and only ~20 minutes from Abu Dhabi airport. We do not sell Warner Bros. World tickets and take no commission on them — we sell the private car that gets you there, from AED 699. WhatsApp +971 58 228 2683.
Entirely indoors. Entirely air-conditioned. A Guinness World Record holder, built for $1 billion.
Warner Bros. World or Ferrari World? The honest answer
This is the question Google itself puts in its “People also ask” box, and it is the one that decides most bookings. We sell tickets to neither park and earn nothing from either, so here is the answer without a thumb on the scale.
| Warner Bros. World | Ferrari World | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Children under ten · mixed-age families | Teenagers · adults · adrenaline |
| Attractions | 29 across 6 lands | 40+ rides |
| Signature ride | Dark rides & family coasters | Formula Rossa — 0–240 km/h in ~4.9 sec |
| Intensity | Moderate — plenty for small children | Extreme — height restrictions on the big three |
| Live shows | Yes — a real strength | Limited |
| Indoor / air-conditioned | Yes — entirely | Yes |
| Official ticket | ~AED 475 (offers lower) | ~AED 310–345 |
| Time needed | 4 hrs · a full day with kids | 4–5 hrs |
The short version. Children under ten → Warner Bros. World. There is simply more they can actually go on, the live shows hold them, and the six lands give a small child a sense of travelling somewhere. Teenagers and adults who want to be frightened → Ferrari World. Formula Rossa is the fastest rollercoaster on the planet and nothing at Warner Bros. comes close to it.
Do not attempt both in one day. Each deserves four hours minimum. Doing both produces two rushed, expensive, half-remembered visits — and roughly AED 1,050 per adult in tickets.
The six lands
The park is organised into six themed lands, and understanding them is how you plan the day — particularly with children of different ages.
Gotham City
Dark, gothic, atmospheric — the most visually impressive land in the park and the most intense. Batman-led. Older children and teenagers gravitate here and small ones sometimes find it genuinely frightening, which is worth knowing before you walk in.
Metropolis
The counterweight to Gotham: bright, futuristic, Superman and the Justice League. Thrill rides, but with a lighter tone.
Cartoon Junction
The heart of the park for under-tens. Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tom & Jerry, Scooby-Doo. Rides are scaled for small children, the theming is bright, and this is where a five-year-old will want to spend three hours. If you are visiting with young children, this land alone justifies the choice of Warner Bros. over Ferrari World.
Bedrock
The Flintstones, stone-age themed, home to The Flintstones Bedrock River Adventure. Gentle, funny, and a favourite with parents who grew up with it.
Dynamite Gulch
A desert-canyon land built around Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner — the Looney Tunes chase, made physical. A mix of intensities.
Warner Bros. Plaza
The entrance land, styled after Hollywood’s golden age. Dining, shopping, live entertainment and shows. Do not skip the shows — they are a genuine strength of this park and the thing that most distinguishes it from Ferrari World.
On This Page
The rides and attractions
29 rides, shows and attractions — and the important thing to understand is that they are not all rollercoasters. A large share are dark rides, interactive attractions and live shows, which is exactly why the park works for mixed-age families in a way that Ferrari World does not.

What the ride mix actually looks like
- Family dark rides — the backbone of the park. Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry, the Flintstones. Story-led, gentle, and genuinely well made.
- Thrill rides — concentrated in Gotham City and Metropolis. Real coasters, but nothing at Formula Rossa’s level.
- Interactive attractions — where children stop queueing and start doing things.
- Live entertainment and shows — a real strength, and the thing most reviews under-report. They also give you somewhere to sit down, which after four hours matters more than you expect.
- The Flintstones Bedrock River Adventure, Cartoon Junction Carousel, Tom and Jerry: Swiss Cheese Spin, The Jetsons Cosmic Orbiter — the named family rides people search for.
Height restrictions apply on some rides. They change, and we are not going to print numbers that might be out of date when you arrive — check the official Warner Bros. World website before you travel.
Warner Bros. World tickets and price
Here is where you can save real money, and most visitors do not.
| Source | Approx. price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Official site (adult) | ~AED 475 | The headline price |
| Authorised resellers | ~AED 345 | Routinely cheaper — check before you buy |
| Family & Friends offer | ~AED 221 per person | Park promotion — the best value we found |
| Skip-the-line + shuttle | ~AED 391 | Third-party packages |
| Children | Reduced | Check the official site — bands change |
Do not just pay the AED 475 headline. The gap between the official adult walk-up price and the park’s own family promotions is more than double. For a family of four that is a difference of roughly AED 1,499. Check the official site’s offers page and compare authorised resellers before you book.
Prices verified July and subject to change. We are quoting a range deliberately, because a single stale number would mislead you.
We do not sell Warner Bros. World tickets. Not bundled, not marked up, not at all. We take no commission. Operators who bundle park tickets into a tour price buy them at a trade rate and resell them at a margin — which is precisely why we are able to tell you to go and find the cheaper offer. We charge for the car. That is it.
How it compares in Abu Dhabi
| Attraction | Adult entry | Family of 4 |
|---|---|---|
| Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque | FREE | AED 0 |
| Qasr Al Watan | AED 65 | ~AED 260 |
| Louvre Abu Dhabi | AED 70 (under-18s free) | ~AED 140 |
| Ferrari World | AED 310–345 | ~AED 1,380 |
| Warner Bros. World | AED 221–475 | ~AED 884–1,900 |
That is the honest context. Warner Bros. World is the most expensive attraction in Abu Dhabi at the walk-up price — and one of the better-value ones at the family-offer price. The spread is enormous. Do the ten minutes of research.
Warner Bros. World with children — why this is the right park
This is the park’s whole case, and it is a strong one.
- Cartoon Junction is built entirely for under-tens — Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Scooby-Doo, with rides scaled to them.
- Bedrock (The Flintstones) is gentle and charming, and parents enjoy it as much as the children.
- Live shows give small children something to do that is not queueing, and give you somewhere to sit.
- Six distinct lands mean a child feels like they have travelled somewhere, rather than walked around one shed.
- Entirely air-conditioned — no meltdowns at 45°C.
- 29 attractions, most of which a seven-year-old can actually go on. At Ferrari World, the three headline rides are all off-limits to them.
We will say it plainly, and we sell neither ticket: if your children are under ten, book Warner Bros. World and skip Ferrari World. Ferrari World is a magnificent park built around three extreme rides your children cannot ride. You will pay AED 1,380 for a family of four to look at cars.
The one caution
Gotham City is dark and genuinely atmospheric — some small children find it frightening. It is worth walking them past the entrance and gauging the reaction before you commit to it.
How long do you need at Warner Bros. World?
Google’s own visit data — drawn from anonymised location history — says people typically spend up to 4 hours here. Our honest advice differs slightly.
| Who | Time needed | Book |
|---|---|---|
| Adults only, efficient | 4 hours | 6-hour car (AED 799) |
| Adults + teenagers | 5 hours | 6-hour or full day |
| With children under ten | A full day | Full-day car (AED 899) |
| Warner Bros. and Ferrari World | Two separate days | Talk to us |
Children do not move quickly, and they will want to repeat rides. Four hours is the adult number. With a family, plan a full day and stop worrying about the clock — the whole point of an indoor park is that there is no weather to escape and no reason to rush.
The summer argument — and it is decisive
From June to September, Abu Dhabi routinely exceeds 42°C, and humidity can push the felt temperature past 50°C. Outdoor sightseeing with children in that is not a holiday.
Warner Bros. World is entirely indoors and fully air-conditioned — roughly 1.65 million square feet of climate-controlled park. There is no queue in the sun, no walk across hot tarmac, no point in the day where you look at your children and decide to go back to the hotel.
If you are visiting Abu Dhabi in July or August with children, this is the single best day you can book. Do the free outdoor sights early — the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque at 09:00, which costs nothing — and then spend the brutal middle of the day inside the park. That is the summer itinerary and we would book it for our own families.
The rest of Yas Island
| Attraction | Entry | Indoor? | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warner Bros. World | AED 221–475 | Yes — entirely | Children under ten · families |
| Ferrari World | AED 310–345 | Yes | Teenagers & adrenaline |
| SeaWorld Abu Dhabi | Varies | Largely | Mixed-age families · gentlest of the three |
| Yas Waterworld | AED 295 | No | May & September, not January |
| Yas Marina Circuit | AED 159 | No | Motorsport fans · hosts the F1 Grand Prix |
| Yas Mall | FREE | Yes | Free air conditioning — genuinely a strategy in August |
One park per day. Attempting two produces two bad visits and roughly AED 1,050 per adult in tickets.
How to get to Warner Bros. World
It is on Yas Island. Abu Dhabi is not walkable, and Yas sits well outside the city centre.
| From | Distance | Drive time |
|---|---|---|
| Abu Dhabi International Airport | ~15 km | ~20 min — closer than the city |
| Abu Dhabi city centre | ~30 km | ~30 min |
| Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque | ~30 km | ~30 min |
| Ferrari World | Next door | ~5 min walk |
| Louvre Abu Dhabi (Saadiyat) | ~25 km | ~25 min |
| Dubai | ~140 km | ~90 min via the E11 |
Note the airport. Warner Bros. World is only about 20 minutes from Abu Dhabi International — closer than the city centre is. If you have a long layover with children, this is genuinely a viable way to spend it, and almost nobody realises.
Your options
- Taxi — fine, and the right choice for one or two people.
- Hire car — Yas Island has extensive parking.
- Private car with driver — AED 699 for the whole vehicle (up to 6 guests). We drop you at the entrance and wait, which matters when you cannot predict the minute a child will decide they are finished.
One or two people? Take a taxi. We would rather say that than sell you a car you do not need.
Is Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi worth it?
| Worth it if… | Skip it if… |
|---|---|
| Your children are under ten | Your group is all adults chasing adrenaline (go to Ferrari World) |
| You are visiting in summer and need somewhere indoors | You cannot spare at least four hours |
| You want live shows as well as rides | Your budget is tight — the Louvre is AED 70 and free for under-18s |
| You find the family offer (~AED 221pp) rather than the walk-up price | You are paying AED 475 each without checking the offers |
| You have a long layover with kids (20 min from the airport) | You want culture, not cartoons |
The blunt version: at the walk-up price of AED 475, this is the most expensive attraction in Abu Dhabi and a family of four will pay around AED 1,900. At the family-offer price of ~AED 221, the same family pays around AED 884 — and gets a full day in the best family park in the emirate.
The ticket you buy matters more than the park you choose. Spend ten minutes on the offers page.
Five mistakes visitors make
1. Paying the AED 475 walk-up price
Family and online offers are routinely less than half that. Check the official offers page and authorised resellers first.
2. Taking under-tens to Ferrari World instead
They cannot ride Formula Rossa, Flying Aces or Turbo Track. This is the wrong park for them, and Warner Bros. is five minutes away.
3. Trying to do both parks in one day
Each needs four hours minimum. You will do neither properly and spend roughly AED 1,050 per adult.
4. Allowing four hours with young children
Google says four; children say otherwise. Budget a full day.
5. Walking small children straight into Gotham City
It is dark, gothic and genuinely atmospheric. Some small children find it frightening. Start in Cartoon Junction instead.
How we fit in — and what we do not sell
We are a DTCM-licensed UAE tour operator — 4.9★, 5,000+ guests — and we sell exactly one thing: a private vehicle with a driver-guide, priced per car, from AED 699.
- We do not sell Warner Bros. World tickets. You buy your own, at face value.
- We take no commission — which is exactly why we can tell you to go and find the AED 221 family offer instead of the AED 475 walk-up.
- We drop you at the entrance and wait — however long you stay.
- Per-vehicle pricing. Six people pay what one pays.
- No booking fee, no prepayment. Pay the driver on the day.
If you can get yourself to Yas Island, you do not need us. Take a taxi and have a superb day. This page works as a free planning guide — that is deliberate.
Who wrote this page
Written by the operations team at Royal Arabian Safari, a DTCM-licensed tour operator in the UAE. We drive guests to Yas Island regularly. Ticket prices, opening hours, ride availability, height restrictions and child pricing all change — always verify on the official Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi website before you travel. We have deliberately quoted a range for tickets rather than a single figure, and have not printed height limits or a fixed timetable, because stale numbers on a page like this cost people money and time. Park facts (29 attractions, six lands, 1.65 million sq ft, opened 25 July, built by Miral) come from the park, its operator and Wikipedia. We sell no tickets to this park and earn nothing from your visit. If anything here is wrong, message us and we will correct it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you arrange Abu Dhabi city tours as well as desert safaris?
Yes. Alongside our desert safaris we arrange Abu Dhabi city tours taking in Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Corniche, Yas Island, Saadiyat Island and Louvre Abu Dhabi, plus day trips to Al Ain and Dubai. Ask us about combining a city tour with a desert safari for better value.
Can I combine a city tour with a desert safari on the same day?
Yes, and it is a popular combination. A morning or half-day city tour pairs well with an evening desert safari, which picks up around 3:00 to 3:30 PM. Message us with your dates and we will build a timing that works without rushing you.
How much does a desert safari cost if I add one?
Our desert safari prices are AED 35 self-drive, AED 50 shared bus from Al Wahda or Mazyad Mall, AED 100 shared hotel pickup, AED 599 for a private 7-seater car and AED 800 for a private Land Cruiser. There is no booking fee and no deposit, and you pay on arrival.
What is included in the desert safari?
Every evening package includes 4×4 dune bashing, a short camel ride, sandboarding, a sunset photo stop, Arabic costume for photos, henna for ladies, a full BBQ buffet dinner with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, unlimited soft drinks, water, Arabic coffee and tea, a shisha corner, separate washrooms and around eight live shows including tanoura, belly dance and a fire show.
Where is your desert camp?
At our own DCT-licensed camp in the Al Khatim desert, roughly 80 km east of Abu Dhabi city along the E22 Abu Dhabi to Al Ain highway, about a 50 to 60 minute drive.
What time does the evening desert safari run?
Pickup is usually 3:00 to 3:30 PM and you are back in the city around 10:00 to 10:30 PM. Timings follow sunset, so in December pickup moves earlier and in June it moves later.
Is hotel pickup included?
Yes on the AED 100 shared pickup and both private car options, covering the whole of Abu Dhabi city including the airport. The AED 50 option departs from Al Wahda Mall or Mazyad Mall.
What should I wear for the desert?
Loose, light-coloured clothing covering shoulders and knees, and closed shoes. Bring a jacket from October to April, when camp temperatures drop to 13 to 22 degrees after sunset. For the Grand Mosque the dress code is stricter — ankles and wrists covered plus a headscarf for women, long trousers for men.
Is the Grand Mosque dress code different from the desert?
Yes, and it catches people out. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque enforces its dress code, while the desert camp has no enforced code. If you are doing both on the same day, wear the mosque-compliant outfit with a layer you can remove once you reach the dunes.
How do I book?
Message us on WhatsApp with your date and group size. We reply with the exact total, no deposit and no booking fee, and you pay at the camp on the day. Free cancellation applies up to 12 hours before.
Do you offer private tours?
Yes. A private car keeps your group alone in the vehicle with your own pickup time and pace. The private desert safari is AED 599 per car for up to seven guests, or AED 800 for the premium Land Cruiser.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes. City tours are easy for all ages, and the desert safari suits children from about age three with gentle dune bashing on request.
What is the best time of year to visit?
November to March gives the most comfortable weather for both city sightseeing and the desert. October and April are excellent value. From May to September plan indoor attractions by day and a morning desert safari rather than an evening one.
Can you collect us from a cruise ship or the airport?
Yes. We collect from Abu Dhabi cruise terminal and Abu Dhabi International Airport as well as hotels and residences. For a tight port day or layover the morning safari usually fits better than the evening one.
Do you offer group and corporate bookings?
Yes. For five or more people a private car at AED 699 works out cheaper per head than individual pickups, and for larger groups we combine multiple vehicles. Send us your numbers and dates and we will work out the best combination.

If we have to cancel, what happens?
A cancellation policy that covers your obligations but not ours is only half a document. Here is our side of it, in writing.
If we have to cancel your booking — for weather, a vehicle issue, or driver illness — we will contact you as soon as we know and rebook you at no charge on the next date that works for you. You pay nothing for the cancelled booking.
If we need to send a different vehicle than the one you booked, we will ask you first rather than turning up in something you did not book.
This is separate from your own cancellation rights, which are unchanged: you can cancel free up to 12 hours before pickup. Because we take no deposit and no booking fee, there is no money of yours sitting with us either way — nothing to chase, and nothing to wait for.
