Dune Bashing
The headline thrill: a skilled driver takes a 4×4 up, down and around the golden dunes near Al Awir in a controlled rollercoaster of climbs and slides. Tyres are deflated for grip, seatbelts on, and the driver reads the sand the whole way. It lasts around 20 to 30 minutes and is the single most exciting part of the evening, though you can skip it and go straight to the camp if you prefer a calm trip.
Camel Rides
A short, gentle camel ride at the camp, the classic desert photo and a favourite with children. The camels are calm and handled by an experienced keeper, and there is time to take pictures. Want longer for a proper photoshoot? A longer camel ride for two is available for AED 300 as an add-on, but the short ride is included free with your ticket.
Sandboarding
Strap a board to your feet or sit and slide down a dune face, no experience needed. It is included free, the boards are provided, and the soft sand makes for gentle landings. Great fun for all ages and an easy way to get an action shot on the dunes before sunset.
Quad Biking

Booked direct, from AED 35 for self-drive, AED 50 by shared bus, AED 100 for a shared 4×4 with hotel pickup, and AED 799 for a private 4×4 for up to seven. A morning safari is AED 799 for a private group, and overnight is priced on WhatsApp.
Is there really a 35 AED desert safari, and is it legit?
Yes. The AED 35 ticket is a genuine self-drive option, you drive to our meeting point near Al Awir and join the same camp, BBQ dinner and shows as everyone else. It is a real DTCM-licensed safari, not a bait price.
Why should I book direct instead of through an OTA?
Online travel agents resell the same desert camps and add a commission of roughly 15 to 30 percent, which is why their tickets start higher. Booking direct with us, the actual operator, means the real price from AED 35, no deposit, instant WhatsApp confirmation and direct contact with the team running your safari.
How do I book and how far in advance?
Message us on WhatsApp with your date, number of guests and pickup area, and we confirm in minutes. A day or two ahead is usually fine; in peak season (November to March) and on weekends, book five to seven days ahead. Same-day tickets are often possible if there is space.
Is a deposit required, and what is the cancellation policy?
No deposit, you pay on the day. If your plans change, tell us and we will move your date for free. If weather ever affects the desert, we reschedule you rather than send you out in unsafe conditions.
Are hotel pickup and transfers included, and which areas?
The AED 100 shared 4×4 ticket and the AED 799 private ticket include hotel or home pickup and drop-off across Dubai (roughly 30 to 55 minutes from the camp). Sharjah and Ajman pickups may be possible on request. The AED 35 self-drive ticket does not include pickup, you drive in.
Morning, evening or overnight, which ticket is best?
Evening is the full classic experience with dune bashing, sunset, BBQ dinner and eight shows. Morning is cooler, quieter and activity-focused with no dinner or shows. Overnight adds a private tent, bonfire, stargazing and breakfast. Most first-timers choose evening.
What is included versus what I pay extra for?
Included free: dune bashing, a camel ride, sandboarding, basic henna, the sunset stop, Arabic costumes, soft drinks, shisha, the BBQ buffet and eight live shows. What should I wear?

What food is served, and are there veg, vegan or Jain options?
A BBQ buffet dinner with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, all halal, plus salads, sides and dessert. Tell us in advance for vegan or Jain meals and we will arrange them. No alcohol is served; during Ramadan, timings and some details adjust, just ask.
What is the child policy and are there age limits?
Children are welcome and love the camp. Pricing depends on age, so message us with your childrens ages for an honest total, small children are often reduced or free. For very young infants, the calm camp may suit better than dune bashing.
Is it safe for pregnant women, elderly guests or people with back or heart conditions?
Dune bashing is a fast ride and is not recommended if you are pregnant or have back, neck or heart conditions. You can skip it and go straight to the camp to enjoy the dinner, shisha, shows and sunset. Tell us your situation and we will arrange a safe, comfortable option.
Premium versus standard, what is the difference?
Our core ticket already includes the full experience. Upgrades like VIP seating (AED 50) or a private 4×4 (AED 799) add comfort and exclusivity, and our luxury safari adds premium touches. There is no stripped-back basic version, every ticket gets the dinner and shows.
Where exactly does the safari take place?
On the golden dunes near Al Awir, about 35 to 45 minutes from central Dubai by the E44. The taller Lahbab red dunes are available on request. The exact camp pin is shared on WhatsApp when you book.
How do I choose a trustworthy operator and avoid being overcharged?

If we have to cancel, what happens?
A cancellation policy that covers your obligations but not ours is only half a document. Here is our side of it, in writing.
If we have to cancel your booking — for weather, a vehicle issue, or driver illness — we will contact you as soon as we know and rebook you at no charge on the next date that works for you. You pay nothing for the cancelled booking.
If we need to send a different vehicle than the one you booked, we will ask you first rather than turning up in something you did not book.
This is separate from your own cancellation rights, which are unchanged: you can cancel free up to 12 hours before pickup. Because we take no deposit and no booking fee, there is no money of yours sitting with us either way — nothing to chase, and nothing to wait for.
